Anyone have experience with the DJ-20 jointer? Tool Crib has it on sale this month. Just want to know if it’s a good machine, accurate etc. Thanks for your input.

terry the delta DJ-20 is a great machine, mine is very accurate the only problem Ive encountered is with the blade guard tentioning working loose ,but a few cranks with a allen wrench and its as good as new. you cant go wrong buying this machine . good luck.
For half of the money you can buy a Grizzly made in the same place. What a work horse mine has been, you'd think I was a mfg. with all the wood that thing straightens out.
The differance is Grizzly sells direct, Delta through dealers. Go to http://www.Grizzly .com
Looks like Grizzly has a model with the parallelogram tables but it's priced right up there. Delta has a 2 year warranty while Grizzly is only one year. While comparing apples to apples the Grizzly 8" for half the price of the DJ20 isn't a good comparison. The so called Delta Professional 8" would be a better comparison and are priced closer. I've used the Delta professional model and while it's ok I wouldn't buy one myself. The parallelogran tables are great and this is used on Martins and other high end European jointers.
