Delta 18-36 Drum Sander (31-250)
Hi,
Does anyone have a good method to level the table on a Delta 31-250? I have been fiddling with mine a cannot seem to get it dead level.

I took the table off, removed the cogged belt, lowered all the jackscrews to the bottom, set them all to the same height with a dial indicator, replaced the belt and table and was good to go.

Just once. As long as the cogged belt does not slip the adjustment is permanent. A side benefit of doing it this way is the handwheel turns very easy when raising or lowering the table.
