Does anyone have a recommendation for the best price and service on replacement batteries? I remember a note in the magazine about a rebuild service or something of the sort. Any help is appreciated. Mike

I had a few battery packs rebuilt at Batteries Plus for $41.00. Expect to pay a little more for your 18 volt.
A friend of mine buys his own cells and solders them together. I think Batteries Plus may use a tiny spot welder. I've been happy with the rebuilt packs. Just save your receipt just in case. I think the warranty is 6 months.
Good Luck,
Bill
This site gets many good reviews mostly stating that the batteries are better than they were new.
