DIRECTIONS ON GETTING TO THE Black and Decker University building: From Rt. 95, take Rt. 695 toward Towson, MD. Get off at Cromwell Bridge Rd, and take that to Mylander Lane.
Use Google Maps or other Directions software for specific directions. The address is provided above.
This talk is sponsored by the Washington Woodworkers Guild (WWG), which does not have a large enough room to host this event. The Black and Decker University offered the use of their building and a free pizza lunch. They asked if they could give a demo of tools that they have under development and ask the attendees for feedback on the designs. David Savage is not charging for his talk, and is in no way affiliated with Black and Decker. I have been at two other meetings at which I got to try Delta, Porter Cable, and DeWalt tools under development and give feedback. I enjoyed the experience and look forward to doing it again.
If you have any questions, please let me know. Everyone is invited. The Washington Woodworkers Guild has invited the Pennsylvania and Maryland guilds. Alan Garner is working those contacts. You know him as Planesaw. Feel free to contact him.
Attached is an abstract of the talk that David Savage will give, and some background information on him.
If you have any ideas on where it would be good to post this notice, please let me know.
Thank you very much.
Looking forward to seeing you in Towson, MD on July 11.

To everyone within a couple hours of Towson, MD (just north of Baltimore),
The opportunity to visit Black & Decker University (Porter Cable, Delta, DeWalt, et al), have a presentation from their designers about tools in development,
AND
meet and hear David Savage is probably a once in a lifetime opportunity for 99 percent of us. And, there will be no charge for the pizza lunch.
Email Mel or me through our profile. But just one of us. No need for double counting.
