Hi –
I am (slowly) completing a tack trunk. Target piece is wrap holder on bottom of lid: 1/2″ ply (16×39) with 3 14×4 cutouts to allow access. Top and cutouts ideally need solid 1/8″ edgeband. Complication is that I want to radius (1″) cutout corners on top (outside radius) and bottom (inside radius).
Is there a simple technique to solid edgeband the curves?
My best thought is to use router templating. Works easily for inital step of cutting the plywood. Can’t figure out how to match cut the solid edgeband without creating two additional templates (1) inverse of the original template to mate plywood and glue side of the edgeband and (2) new curve to cut outside of edgeband after it is glued up.
This technique seems complex and prone to fit errors.
Help appreciated. Thanks.

Multiple templates is all I've ever been able to come up with. To make the templates, I put bearings on straight bits to make top-guided pattern bits. I pick bearing sizes to offset the bit exactly one bit diameter. One source for bearings is http://eagleamerica.com/bearings--rub-collars/p/196-0400/
