What’s on the cover of the Woodcraft catalog that you received this week?
Last month I bought my first woodcarving gouge–a Pfeil. This new catalog features Pfeil on the cover. Was this targeted advertising, or just a coincidence? My husband thinks that customized covers would cost more than they could hope to recoup in sales.
Just wondering.
For the record, though, I did turn directly to the Pfeil pages to pick out a fishtail gouge. Slippery slope.

Carving gouges
. . . are like potato chips and peanuts - ya can't "eat" just one. ;-)
I've found the Pfeil carving tools to be "pfein". For something a little heftier, you might also look at the Henry Taylor line.
