Installing 38 degree crown molding. No problem so far as my Hitachi Sliding Compound gives excellent instructions and drawings. However, I have a fireplace in the corner of the room so instead of 90 degree angles have 45 degrees. I do not know the setting. Would it be one-half of the degrees on the miter scale? I assume I leave the bevel setting alone. Only a few cuts but I am very close on material already finished and would be hard to match any new, so I do not want to practice with what little I have.
Thanks for a speedy reply. Would like to/have to install by Tues, July 29.

Harry,
Okay, I have the tables and thank you very much. I was worried at first since I looked up for a 45 degree wall, when actually it is 135 degrees. Thanks again.
I spoke a year or so asgo with a gentleman in Calif. (name escapes me now) who knew Joe Fusco. Are you by any chance from Sayville, NY?
Harry,
I'm from New York, but not Sayville. Glad the charts help you out.View Image
