I’m looking for users opinions of the “Critter” brand spray gun. This is the small gun advertised in Woodcraft, Woodworker’s Supply and other catalogs, selling for around $50 which uses a mason jar for the cup. I intend to use it for spraying thinned polyurethane varnish. Your likes or dislikes would be appreciated. Thanks. GP.

I've got one. I've been pretty happy with it, especially when it comes time to clean it up. My automotive guns are a pain to clean so I only use them for big jobs. I like the critter for small jobs. I fill the mason jar and seal it between coats. One piece of advice, buy the extra seals, they tend not to last too long.
