Someone on another forum described this problem with his 22114 Craftsman Table saw, and another person described experiencing a similar problem.

   It’s been suggested that the belt could be the problem, but I’m not so sure about that, so I thought I would post his question here, and see if some members here might have some ideas.

 Question – I have the base model of this saw and have been very happy – until now – Over the last two weeks it’s developed a pronounced”hum/vibrate/oscillation” When running about every 5-8 seconds it will hum and a oscillating vibration will pass thru the saw. I’ve taken the blade off and run the saw to verify it’s the saw – not the blade – my next step is to take the belt off to see if maybe it’s the belt – any other ideas??? – tia – tbullard
