My father wants a Cordless Circular Saw for Christmas… Anyone have any recommendations? He is a moderate to heavy woodworker… He likes to putter with home remods, up to high end furniture.. He said he just wants to play around with it… but I would prefer to buy him a higher quality unit…. he doesnt need one of the big kits, he has too many cordless drills, etc to have one more floating around…
Any suggestions highly appreciated, thanks in advance,

Might be a good idea to get a brand of saw that compliments what cordless he already has. 18v saws should be the minimum.
Take this question to the Breaktime forum and be prepared for the debate. A lot of tool junkies there
Who ever invented work didn't know how to fish....
I have the Milwaukee, and it is a great little saw. Far from replacing my wormdrive, but good for when I'm far from the source.
