Posting this here since I received no responses in the Tools section. I am considering a G 1066 and would like feedback from users. Specifically, how well does the table align in relationship to the drums right and left( does it stay parallel), how accurate and easy is it to set the second roller and how well does the infeed belt track. I had a PerFormax 25″ dual drum and had problems with all of the issues listed above. Thanks for your assessment. Doug

I don't have one, Doug, but I'd be willing to test yours for you, if you have it shipped here. ;-)

Happy New Year
I have a G 1066 that I got used for free from the contractor that built my house because he got tired of lugging the heavy thing around. After some clean up and minor adjustments, I've used it a lot and it works great. The parallelism can be adjusted by taking the chain off and turning up or down the free side screws.
As I said, it works great. As you would expect from any fixed speed feed system, you just have to make sure you don't get too agressive with the amount of material you try to remove in a single pass.
Thanks Ebs. Even with my PerFormax vith VS you had to be careful with getting too agressive, especially with the finer grits.
