Does anybody know if it is feasible to epoxy a clear piece of glass (acting as a hand pull) to a clear glass sliding double door(on the front face) for a display cabinet? My goal is to attach the hand pull with out having the visibility of the epoxy glue when it is cured or dry. Any recommendations on a specific brand of epoxy for this, that will dry clear and not leave visible residue in between the two glass surfaces??? Thank You!!! Chipper 12/16/2003

It shouldn't be too tough to remove the epoxy squeezout before it hardens completely. You just need to keep an eye on it until it's no longer sticky but still pliable.
I'd be more concerned about the handle coming off in use. What's the surface area of the proposed glue joint?
Chipper,
A lot of glass to glass attachments these days seem to be done with a crystal clear double sided tape made especially for the job. I think that 3M makes the tape and there may be others. A web search may turn it up or you could call a local glass shop, if they had some you could possibly buy just enough for the job at hand.

There is also a UV cured glue sold for mending glass available in most hardware stores. Haven't tried it in this application, but it works pretty well for mending glass and has the same refracrive index as most common glass. You might want to test it.
