I recently learned I’m supposed to knock out the diamond arbor on my blade for my wormdrive Skilsaw. What’s the trick to knocking out these arbors? Thanks, Todd

Twist it out, or rap it with a hammer and take it out.
Punch of some type even if it's only only a nail and a hammer....
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming....
WOW!!! What a Ride!
Some blades have diamond "knock outs" that should be removed by twisting. The Freuds are an example of this type. They are laser cut and the diamond is part of the blade plate that is held in by a little bit of material on each end that isn't cut through. A screwdriver can be inserted into the bore and twisted back and forth a few times to break it free. The stamped blades on the market generally have a separate bushing pressed in and these can be "punched" or "knocked" out.
