Guess my first post on this subject didn’t get posted where anyone could see it.
About this time of year, my family starts making Christmas toys for kids who wouldn’t normally have one. I usually make rocking horses, Christmas decorations, etc., but have run out of ideas. I need some new ones.
If anyone can give me a source, or site to find something a child would like to get for Christmas, please let me know. We enjoy showing our grandkids the true meaning of Christmas, and love to see the children receive a toy or two.
Thanks, in advance,

I volunteer through my local woodworking club to make a fleet of small toy trucks for the 'Tots For Tots' program each Christmas. I also have plans for different types of pencil and crayon holders, plus a simple puzzle or two. Nothing original, all this stuff came from various woodworking magazines I've gathered through the years. E-mail me your address and I'll send you a few full size plans. Most of the stock (3/4" pine) comes right out of the cut-off box. My only expence is crayons, colored pencil sets and some commercially made wheels. The finish is just a quick waxing, no shellac or anything that is fancy.
