Hello, I have a small Craftsman 2 Hp, 4 Gallon air compressor and would like a spray gun that’s compatible… I was told a Low-Volume Low-Pressure would be good since it requires less air, has better transfer, but takes longer to spray a project… Would this be a good choice? also, what’s your opinion on a gravity feed vs. suction for small cabinetry projects… could you recommend a good quality spray gun… thanks so much… Josh

aquajosh,
For a small shop, HVLP is a very good way to go. I think the compressor you have is a bit small though. If you can fit it in your budget, consider a small turbine unit. One of the advantages is you always have clean, dry air. There is no need to put in a water or oil separator into the lines as with a compressor.
Rob gave you a very good link to explore. You'll get a lot of good info there.
Good luck.
Peter
