I have a 2hp dust collector in my shop. Up until now I have only had it hooked up to my planer, but I’m finally making time to install it properly. Does anyone know of a good source for metal dust collection pipe in Canada? Contrary to popular opinion, most Canadians have nothing against Americans, but the exchange rate makes American purchases very expensive.

Check Heating and ventilating companies we use spiral duct which needs double small end couplings.Usually available only in 10 foot lengths and up to 48" in dia !!!!
That sounds like a good idea for the pipe. Apparently HVAC elbows, t's etc. are not well suited for dust collection. They slow down the airflow too much. But thanks for the suggestion, I'll check them out for pipe.
I am in the design process of a DC also, and using 2 90's, unwould to 45's, to make a 90, is recommended by most DC companies. I think the spiral pipe mentioned above is best for a DC, but not needed is the size of the DC is not too great. What is "too great" I do not know, but I am looking at the 2 hp Oneida and the 2 hp Woodsucker (love that name!), and for these the spiral is not needed.
I have a cyclone based DC and used HVAC pipe and elbows etc. All purchased at Don Park. They have 2 locations I'm aware of. One is in the Toronto area (Kennedy and Eglington area I think. The other is in Oshawa on Ritson Rd. They supply most of the trades and have a better selection of turns, reducers etc. than HD.
I sealed all joints with Duct tape, and the system appears to work very well. I would say the weakest part is the blower, as it is a 1 or 1.5HP cheapie that came with the cyclone.
I ran a 6' trunk to a y - this in turn feeds Router, Drill press, joiner, planner, bandsaw and table saw.
Only real issue is leaving the barrel in to long, and the cyclone fills, then the pipe etc. Ugly!
