I recently had to have the motor on myPowermatic 66 serviced. John White’s book was essential for putting it back together. Better than ever! A really good dry lubricant for moving parts is “White Lightning” chain lube for Mountain bike chains. It goes on as a liquid, dries quickly and doesn’t attract dirt!

I used to be a serious bike rider so I'm familiar with the early versions of dry lubes for bikes and found that they didn't work all that well or all that long on power tools especially if the old grease wasn't thoroughly removed beforehand. It is quite likely that the newer products are more effective, I'll give them a try.
