Willy,
21 X 28 is no big deal, specify 1/16th inch glass and use 3 hinges per door to be safe. I have hung 18″ X 54″ doors with glass (2 panes) using 3 hinges per side with no problems. I use Blum hinges but I’m sure other high quality brands will work just fine.

As with Lee, I make glass doors larger than this all the time. I use M & T joinery, but I suppose the bridle joint would be equally sufficient. Single pane glass is the way to go. It's thin, and not as heavy.

Thanks Lee, have had great success with blums and adding a third hinge each side will be the ticket-based on other replies the door size wont be a prob.
