Cabinet door unique rail style
In the article from the Sept/Oct. 2005 issue, Choosing Door Hinges, p. 76 (also online under that same article title) there is pictured some doors and drawers with an unique detail on the rails of the doors and drawers. I have look through numerous catalogs and cannot locate a rail & stile bit set that would make this. My only thought is to make the detail with a raised panel bit on the rail, but then what? Has anyone seen this profile before? Any guidance would be very helpful.

Dear Trying2understand,
I checked with our publisher, Anatole Burkin, who took the photo that has you so puzzled. It's a photo of his own kitchen cabinets. He explained that the cabient doors are made by Woodcraft Industries, which sells them to Kraftmaid Cabinets. His guess is that Woodcraft uses a custom moulder cutter. HOpe this helps.
