I need to make a few kitchen cabinet doors to match existing (very old) doors. The doors are flat slab with a roundover about 1/8 inch wide on the edges. They are 3/4 inch thick and half-overlay type, and they are painted. The largest door I need to make is 15 inches wide and 32 inches long.
It seems that Baltic birch plywood would be a good choice, but I’m not sure about eventual warping. The doors don’t need to last forever; this is an interim fix until the owner (my daughter) can afford a full kitchen remodeling in a few years.
I would appreciate any thoughts or experience with Baltic birch plywood or other possibilities for this application.
Thanks.
Alan

For paint grade Baltic Birch is in my opinion overkill since the edges will be painted an regular Maple veneer core plywood will do fine . As far as flatness the panels is either flat when you get it or not and typically they will not change with time .The exception being china ply , it changes as soon as you cut it .
regards dusty, makes a lot of paint grade cabinets
Thanks for the advice, Dusty.

Your sounds splendid. As per your sounds, I think that you should have to try oak door which intakes same requirement which you want. Hope that it would be help so.
