This is not political.
Anyone know if there is a website for Bush Oil, made by Bush Products in Amsterdam, NY. Supposedly a replica of the way Watco Danish Oil used to be made when it was good. The guys who make it are pros and do fantastic woodworking.
Website?

Planesaw,
Here I thought this was going to be a political discussion, ;-)
French,
Rarely am I going to start a political discussion. Got my opinions, but not going to waste much time just talking politics. Too many other important things in life.
Thanks for stopping by. Sorry for the misunderstood title.

Planesaw,
apparently you missed my little smiley face indicating I was kidding.
Sorry, should have 'splained myself. No, I saw the smiley and knew you were kidding.
However, since I had googled on Bush Oil and came up with about 5 million websites having to do with President Bush and oil, I knew my title might be misunderstood by folks.
So, I thought I would just do a quick edit and explain it.
Thanks anyway.

Try it on Google and put quotation marks around the phrase. That should filter for that specific phrase rather than for the individual words. I'm thinking that something along these lines ought to yield somewhat more focused results: "Bush Products" + "Bush Oil"
Thanks Kevin, but no change with what google came up with.

Here's a search string that worked:
Wood finishing "bush oil"forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
Thanks forestgirl. That is a source, but not the company itself. I am beginning to wonder if they have taken their website down. Not sure whether that means they are no longer producing or what.

No website, but here is contact info for Bill Bush:

Nice products, hope this info helps
I taled with the salesperson at a woodshow from Bush oil. He said the base for the oil was a highly refined linseed oil.
The MSDS shows it's 31-40% linseed oil plus 31-40% other oils ("aliphatic hydrocarbons"), 1-10% urethane (varnish) and 1-10% solvents ("aliphatic petroleum distillates"). It includes some cobalt and manganese drying agents.
It's a nice oil treatment, better than Watco and, I'm sad to say, better than my own home brew.

There is also Bush Beans, a caned baked bean. Also not political, unless it goes to gas, global warming, CO².
