The local Lowe’s has a Delta Boss oscillating sander on clearance for $159.00, down from $200.00. Any opinions on this machine? Do they normally come with only a 3/4″ drum and if so, how much do the other sizes cost? Thanks,
Ian

Mine has all the drum sizes (they came with it). It is kind of a specialized machine but I have found good uses for it though not too often. I wouldn't buy it until I had a project going that it would be helpful for (course I could say that about most all of my tools). I most often use it to sand the curved edges of jig or band sawn parts. With the largest drum it works nearly as well on outside curves as on inside ones. I find that I change drum sizes often.
Thanks Clay. I suspected that it should come with all four drums. I've gotten by for years with a home made table top job, 3", and few smaller drums that I use on the drill press. I don't use them all that often either so I think I'll pass on the Lowes deal. Just had a mild case of clearance tableitis.
