In another post I am questioning what is the recommended core for 2′ w x 5′ h x 3/4″ thick flush wardrobe doors. I was thinking MDF, but am awaiting other advice.
Each will be hinged with self-closing Blum 125 degree hinges. We want to use the Blumotion dampers to soften the close. Here is what Blum has for paired (or heavy) doors.
I am wondering whether to use this one part for both doors, or one for each leaf. If you’ve experience with Blumotion for doors, please chime in.

Basically they work, but Salice has a variation on the theme which is inserted into a hole drilled in the frame/carcase. Much neater IMO

Blum has that too. Plus, a faceframe-mount version. I am committed to the carcase mount because of my small overlay.
That one works as an aftermarket add-on. When building new you can get the same device without the outside nickle plated case in a drilled-in version from Blum also. They work very well, are inexpensive and will not fall off like the old style glue on bumpers. They drill into the edge of the cabinet case. aloha, mike
I second what everyone already said about the Blum options. On a door this size you might well want to play around with the position of the pistons, and maybe even use the double for each door if it is heavy. Drilling and inserting the piston is quick and clean but it assumes that you are sure of the placement. If possible, try it out first by holding the stoppers in place when the back of the cabinet is off, and have someone close the door.

Thanks for the replies.
As I said, these are going on frameless carcases with only 1/4" of overlay, so the edge-drill mount is not an option (as it is on everything else in the project.)
