I have a chance to obtain a lot of 10 year old 5/4 birdseye black walnut lumber. I’ve not heard of birdseye walnut before. Has anyone used it and is it as rare as I think it may be?
How would birdseye walnut compare in price to birdseye maple?

It's rubbish Mike! Can't be used for anything except firewood. I'll make you an offer - hang onto it and I'll take it off your hands for a bit more than you'd get at the firewood place.
Not!
Cheez ... is it any good he says!
I'd kill for it.
You're just trying to get frenchy salivating, not to mention the rest of us!
