I am building two vanity cabinets, these are going to be painted (sprayed). What lumber do you all suggest I use for the best painting finish. Home depot have suggested Birch Boards for the cabinet and Poplar for the face frames. Please help
Thanks

Birch and poplar is a basic combination for painted finishes.
The real key to getting a good finish is in the details. Be sure and get a good primed base on and sand it well to flatten it prior to painting.
It's worth the extra effort in the end.
Good luck.
