I am building a stool that will be placed in our stall shower. Rather than start right in with expensive teak, I am building a prototype out of some scrap cherry. I intend to place it in the shower to see how it fits the needs of the family. My thought is to finish it with three coats of poly, but I wonder if several coats of tung oil would be better. Any thoughts about the best finish? Thanks.
