Anyone know where, or if, you can order replacement swivel foot pads for Bessey K Clamps? I mean the black plastic doodad at the opposite end of the clamp from the jaws that serves as a leveller. I’ve broken a couple of mine, and they seem to be impervious to most glues. The Bessey website doesn’t offer any help that I can see.

I received four for Christmas last year. Two of the feet were damaged. My wife called amazon and I got replacements in about a week.
Afraid that wouldn't work for me! I bought mine in Canada and did the damage all by myself.

Although you bought yours in Canada and did the damage all by yourself cmiltier's repair parts came from Amazon. Can you not order stuff from Amazon in Canada? Just a thought...Harry
Following the path of least resistance makes rivers and men crooked.
Hi. Amazon in Canada deals only with books and DVDs. I could order from Amazon USA, but it's more of a hassle. I had in fact checked them out, and they don't show the item in their 11 pages of Bessey. I took cmiltier to mean that because he ordered new clamps that arrived damaged, then the vendor sent replacements. I guess for most purposes I can manage without them, but I use them as a hook to hang clamps on the rack. Ah well.

Did you contact Bessey through their web page?
They are a good company, and may have them even though they aren't cataloged.
Thanks. I think I'll have to do that. While I'm about it I can suggest they make spares available through some retail outlet.

Finally found what I was looking for -- I think -- at LV. It's not in their catalogue but tucked away at the bottom of their K-body webpage is a Tailpiece for about a buck. I'm hoping that's the same as an "end-stop" which is how they describe it earlier on the page. Neither word comes up on their search engine. If finding a p.o.t. was as hard as finding a tailpiece the human race would have petered out long ago.

Did you contact Bessey?? I'd bet they'd help you with that.

Thanks. Yeah, it'll probably come to that, though it seems a bit much for a 50cent piece of plastic. I think every store I use sells the clamps, but nobody has the parts.
