Love my Powermatic.
Need more info. Production or Hobby? I'am a serious Hobbiest and use jigs, guide bushings and a plunge router. Using spiral up-cut bits.
Work Safe, Count to 10 when your done for the day !!

If you've looked at the Powermatic offerings, you'll notce that they stole a couple of ideas from Steel City -- the SC mortiser was the first, as far as I know, to include roller "hold-ins" to hold the stock to the fence, and extendable stock support bars to augment those silly, tiny tables that all the other mortisers had.
I have the SC but haven't used it enough to personally testify. A friend from Knots has done some serious work with his and it performed well from what he told me. The only other model I've seen that I'd put above the SC is the new (and more expensive) Powermatic, quite similar to the SC but features tooless adjustments.
