Happy New Year, Ya’ll!!  Hope everyone had a good New Years Eve and the hangovers are abating.

I’m celebrating 2008 by getting ready to begin a very nice cabinet project and need some input about edge banding.

I’m building a houseful of cabinets using Beech with an oil based poly finish (no stain).  They will have slab style doors and drawer fronts that I’ll make from Beech plywood and I need to edge band them.  Rockler sells the edge banding in Maple and Birch, but not Beech.  I’m tempted to use the Birch but thought I would see if anyone knows of a source for Beech.
