I’m 22 years old and am about to graduate with a bachelors degree in theology. I live in NW PA and I’ve been working at an organbuilding corporation part-time/full-time, doing millwork(dimensioning rough lumber), and I now work with keyboards and the consoles, the finer woodworking stuff. I’ve taken a week long class at conover workshops on handtool joinery and am just about finished with my tage frid style workbench, and have built a few smaller things, a bench, a few jewelry boxes, etc. I’ve read quite a few books on furniture making, etc, and have a strong theoretical knowledge of furniture design/ construction, with some experience.
I’ve applied to Thaddeus stevens woodworking program and want to know what you all think of it. It seems like a good program and Steve Latta seems to know what he’s doing from the articles I’ve read. I also like the fact that it includes some architectual stuff and kitchen cabinetry. If anyone has any ideas of another course of action, let me know.

I'd invite you to post this question on the main message board at Woodcentral.com. Carol Reed, professional woodworker and author of a number of really good books on the use of routers, frequents that board, and she is in the final throes of seminary.
