Years ago I started making my wife Valentines day cards. At first they were a collage of cutouts from magazines but about 5 years ago I started making them out of wood. I use scrap pieces of things like walnut, cherry and mahogany… anything that has some character . Then I will buy a nice card and glue it ro the inside and use a Dremel tool to carve my own sentiment ( such a romantic!). They dont take that long to do and if I were to buy my wife a $20 card, she would never appreciate it as much as these. She takes them to work and displays them in her office. That right there tells you something.
Just a thought for the upcomming Day

Something made is always appreciated a lot more than something bought...... assuming the reciever has any concept of time and effort.Wicked Decent Woodworks
