With the recent article on saws, a tempestive tip may not come amiss.
My saw will allow just under 8″ height and 13″ long, so to crosscut at more than 13″ a seven inch wide board longer than 26″ I stand it on edge and feed it through at an angle. Then trim off the mitre with the wood flat to get a square cut.
It beats going back and forth between machines or tools when you are using the bandsaw anyway. Apologies to all who do this anyway!
