Felders are made in Italy by ACM. ACM also makes bandsaws sold in this country by Laguna, Wilke, and maybe some others. To my eye, they're pretty much indistinguishable, and they are good saws. I've got a Laguna version.
If you're considering Felder, you might check out the Felder Owners Group forum: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/felder-woodworking/. They generally talk more about the combination machines, but occasionally there is some talk about bandsaws.
