The LOML and I are thinking about retiring to Las Cruces NM. I am a wood working hobbyist. What is the availability of wood, cherry, maples, oak both red and white, in southern New Mexico. Will I end up paying more. What can you tell me?

You might look into http://www.cswoods.com. They are in southern Colorado, but might be a possibility. JohnD
Thanks for the input.
Bill: you might want to see what's available in El Paso, TX, it's a lot closer than Colorado.
Failing El Paso, try Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Lubbock and Amarillo.
Good luck,
Thanks Leon
