When you are finished typing your post, look down beneath the text box you're typing in, below the Signature box. There are 5 orange buttons, the last of which says "Attach Files." You'll get a pop-up window where you can browse and find the file you want to attach. Click on the file name, and then click on Upload Files. When the file is finished upload, that file name will show up under "Current List of Attached Documents." If that' the only attachment you need to make, click on "Done." If you want to attach more, click on "Browse" again and find the next file.
Remember to try and keep you file sizes small (say, under 70 Kb or so) so us dial-up people can get to 'em quickly.

Thank you for your help.
I wanted to post some pictures of my most recent and first real furniture piece.
Great looking dog.
Well. I tried everything you said. For some reason when I click "Attach files" nothing happens. The little button wiggles but no pop up. Any other ideas what I could be doing wrong?
Maybe I should stick to woodworking.

Do you use any type of pop-up blocker? If so, the level of security may be affecting you. For instance, I use IE6, SP2. Under 'Tools/Internet Options/Privacy' there is a 'Block Popups' option in which you can choose Low, Medium or High; on the High setting, the 'Attach Files' window will not come up unless you hold down the Ctrl button while clicking on the 'Attach Files' button.

Sorry I disappeared on you yesterday -- visitors and such. Bill's right, a pop-up blocker may be getting in the way. You can turn it off, or better, list forums.taunton.com in the "Exception list" or whatever.
