Hey Wotnow, how ya doing? This subject was addressed sometime last week. I tried the method described in that post and failed at a couple attempts, but I eventually got it.
When I finally got a picture to post into a reply, I learned that the method is a little confusing, but it's something I could get used to.
Okay, I made a mistake. I started this post and don't know how to delete it. I'll look uip last week's discussion and post the link in qnother post.

Aw... I can't get it. Sorry.
Aw... I can't get it. Sorry. There _is_ a thread that discusses this. I swear.

I hear you.. I tried several times and I just got really upset!
I could post one picture and the next one was rejected; Same type of file!
To include an image in a reply, it currently needs to be hosted somewhere online (Photobucket, picasa, your own site), then just use HTML code:
< img src="[URL of hosted image}" >
(delete the space after < and before > )
The URL may need to end in .jpg
Also, original captures will need to be re-sized to about 550 pixels wide to display within the center column space.
Good grief!
Once upon a time I couldn't even spell programmer now I are one.
Thanks guys, I'll try again when I have a couple of spare hours.

I can't even get a photo to
I can't even get a photo to load in my profile. Have tried several times with different pics saved on my PC or on a SD card but keep getting an error mesage saying something to the effect of upload can not be completed.
Guess you guys don't get to look at my handsome mug.

Profile images need to be 200x200 pixels, with a file size no larger than 50KB, I believe. I'm guessing that's your problem.
Do they need to be exactly 200 x 200? I had them at about 189 square and 48KB. I was figuring it was something to do with the path but am not sure. I will try again.

Looks like maybe I was somewhat successful this time. Thanks for the help. My previous attempts I think I had it too small.
