I just recently moved to SE Indiana, and am trying to locate some good sources to purchase material, such as wood & hardware. I have found a couple of small mills in the area, that have some fantastic air dried hardwood at a good price. But they are limited to the local woods only.
I have been looking around for some good plywood and have ot had much luck so far.
Thanks, Taigert

It's on the wrong side of town from you, but you might want to try Hardwood Lumber & More in Loveland. They've got a great selection of hardwood as well as some quality plywood.

A little closer to you, there is a Woodcraft in Fairfield,

and a Rockler in the Tri-County Mall area,

I haven't been there, but others have raved about Frank Miller Lumber in Union City, IN:

Hope this helps!
That is pretty much the list, with the addition ofPaxton in Madeira. They have closed the full-service retail store but still sell lumber and hardwood plywood. At first, the wanted to be B2B only, but now deal with anyone walking in the door. No more partial plywood sheets nor cut lumber. They also liquidated all their books, hardware, finishes, dowels, etc.C R Mutterspaw in Xenia, OH.Do you include Wilhelm Lumber in St. Leon, IN in your list of "small mills?"P.S. If you are near a major metro area, Frank Miller will deliver to your door for free. They have, for example, at least a weekly truck to Cincinnati.
