I recently (two months ago) moved to Germany for a year, and I am trying to figure out a way to keep my WW addiction fed for the year without buying too many tools. Does anyone know of any websites that might list clubs across the country, or even good places to shop for small tools? Any help would be appreciated!

I'm not in Germany, but a little further north (Denmark).
Here are some links for tools etc, some in German others in English

Thanks, Ole, this is exactly what I was looking for. A google search turned up so many results that I'd have been back in the States before I found anything worth while!

Hi, where are you located. If in Hamburg, or near - I have an american partner. We would like to assist you in any cultural-clash situations. Thirsty for a beer and a warm welcome - visit our workshop. Chris´s (my colleague) Motto is: Been there, done that - got the T-Shirt.

Actually, I'm a bit farther south, near Kaiserslautern. My mom is from the town we're living in, so the culture clash has not been a problem (other than the lack of WW, of course). Too bad I didn't post sooner, I was in Bremen a month ago!

Well, I´ve been to the Pfalz. K-Town, Pirmasens you name it. Nice people, down to earth. Feel free to visit anytime. We could put you up for a night. International help is what I got when travelling as a carpenter.
You should see Hamburg anyway.
