Anybody wanna trade planer knives??
I have a good set (3) of 12-1/4″ planer knives, 1″ wide, 1/8″ thick, made by Wisconsin Knife works that I’ll trade even for a similar quality set that are 12″ long, 3/4″ wide, 1/8″ thick.
While this set does work in my old parks planer, they are a little wide and make to much noise when I turn on the DC. Kinda messes up the chip ejection a little too.
I just took these off my planer and they are dull. Will trade even for a dull set. No major nicks. This set is probably 40 years old and very good steel. These came with the planer when I got it 30 years ago and having 3 other sets of knives, I have rarely used this set.
If someone has a sharpened set they want to trade, I’ll get these sharpened.

Why not have your sharpening service trim and grind them down for you. Wisconsin knives are great quality.
cost to much! already thought of that.
