Another “opportunity” has come up–this time a Grizzly stationary jig saw. Have any of you used this model? Any and all information is welcome. The price was almost too ridiculous to turn down, but if it will not work out for cutting my projects, the price is immaterial.

Heart, when I click on the attachment, I get a blank page. Not sure if it's just me, or you took the picture in invisible pixels.
Try this:

Thanks, Mike, I was actually able to open the attachment this afternoon. Not sure what was going on this a.m.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
FG, I was hoping that you would jump in! I am pretty lost at trying to post photos, so whatever pointers you can offer are appreciated. (You really seem to be on top of that technology thing).
Hi, Heart. Well, I'm hardly at the top of the tech thing, but I've posted my share of pictures on the 'net -- old eBay days, ya know, back when most folks had dial-up service, hence my penchant for keeping file sizes small.
OK, I got your pic this afternoon when I logged in, must have been some glitch this morning. You, my dear sir, get the prize for conservative file size, mayyyybeeeee a little too small, but perhaps you took it off a Craig's List ad?
First things first, it's easy to rotate an image so we don't have to lie down on the couch to see it properly, LOL! Somewhere on the toolbar of your picture editing program, or possibly under Image, there will be a rotate option. You can rotate right or left, to get the saw standing up properly.
Drop me an email (click on my name, then on send email) if you want to go through some specifics. You got the attachment just fine. If you're taking a picture and posting it (as opposed to copying it from somewhere), a bigger photo with a file size under, say, 75 kb would be sweeet.
