I’m building an angled front drawer cabinet (in plan, trapezoidal in shape) for a kitchen.
My plan is to use slides to match the coresponding length of each side.
Will this work?

You mean so that one slide is shorter than the other? That should work, but why not just use two of the shorter slides? Most drawer slides don't care if you install them on a drawer that's longer than they are (there are exceptions, though).
