For the removal of fine sanding dust is there anything that is better than a tack cloth?

I've been using a cloth dampened with Naptha. I hate tack cloths.

The new microfiber cloths work well for me and they can be washed and reused.
I use electrostatic dust cloths i.e. Swiffers. They're cheap enough to toss out when done and no chemicals.
I use a rag dampened with mineral spirits but, as FG says, naphtha will work as well and evaporated faster.
Avoid commercial tack cloths as many contain chemicals that can affect the finish. Also, they tend to get gunky fast and you end up just smearing contaminates around.
A side benefit of MS or nathpha is that it sort of previews the color of the wood and will also highlight any glue blobs or areas that need more sanding.

I was thinking about that, and this thread, tonight while doing some finishing.forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)
Micro-fiber, particularly between coats where a chemical on the rag might remove finish.
