I’m looking to upgrade my jointer to an 8″ model. I’m considering the Steel City granite top model with helical cutter head..but I’m open to other suggestions. Any opinions?

A combo machine will give you a 12" jointer.

i already have a dedicated planer. it would be nice to have a 12" jointer but it is impractical in my home shop
