I am purchasing a PC 743 for use in cutting hw ply & mdf. I am either going to get the forrest ww I 60t, or the ww II 30t.
I am also ordering the 60t ww I 10″ for the radial arm saw, and the 40t ww II 10″ for the table saw. All of these will be thin kerf. I plan on dedicating the ras to cross cut & the ts for ripping.
If you had your choice wich would be better for the ply & mdf wwI or wwII (for the 7.25 PC). The wwI is $89 & the wwII is 59. The cost is not the deciding factor. Best tool for the job is the deciding factor.
Thanks in advance for the input.

Bones,
I've had good luck with the Freud Diablo 7.25", thin kerf, 40 teeth, teflon coating. I got it at HD for around $10. It has been the best blade I have ever used.

Dear Bones,
Although I am not a fan of thin kirf blades, if that is your preferance, then I like the Matsuchia finish blade. There are two grades. I get the one in the box. Around $80.00. Beyond sharp, so be careful! Otherwise, Freud makes a finish blade, with red teflon that is full kerf that I like.
Good Luck!
John
For cutting cross grain and ripping look at the makita hardi plank blade a90451. I wanted as good as i could get in dust collection when cutting plywood. Makita make a 7.25 saw for cutting hardi planks 5057kb ($259 at coastaltool.com). I was going to change the blade, then figured give it a try! Works great! very little chipping (as good as true 150 tooth steel plywood blade) lasts for ages, infact I have 2 spares still waiting to be used. and I get through a lot of plywood.
