Having fits with wasted material for 3/8 cabinet door panels. I hate to plane down 4/4 , tried resawing 8/4 into thirds, ouch! I’m using rift white oak, any great ideas? Thanks

? What is the problem ?
Just resaw the 4/4 in half and use both
or
if it tends to get too far out of flat
just use a thicker portion and plane that one to dimension and save the other thinner one for another project
or
why ouch for 8/4 ?
