I am starting to do some research in order to purchase a new 18″ bandsaw. There have some recent 14″ bandsaw reviews but the only ones I can find on 18″ saws are 4+ years old. Can anyone point me to some more recent reviews? I’d be interested in hearing your recommendations as well. I currently have a Delta 14″ bandsaw with a riser block but I’ve been trying to do some larger size resawing and it seems to struggle. thanks

you might want to look at grizzly's 636x bandsaw. it's 17", but it has a resaw height of 16". it also has a 5hp motor which makes it ideal for resawing. i got one a little over a year ago, and i love it. it comes with a manual footbrake which is really nice. good luck.
Maybe that is because there have not been enough big improvements across the range to warrant a full review. Some of the manufactures have done quite a bit with the 14 & 15" saws, but 18+ not much new.
The old review are likely still relevant.
