I doubt you will but.. call the four major hard-wood suppliers in the Atlanta area and see if they can order it..

Have they got it that thick? I rarely go there as what they carry is a bit out of my price range but yes... they do have some very exotic stock that is very nice indeed if one is in need?

Don't know if they have it that thick or not. Will be expensive no matter who has it.
A toothpick size splinter is expensive in walnut anymore. Years ago I turned down 400 board feet from a friends father up in Dalton who cut it and air dried it as I just didn't have the room. Make me that same offer today and I will find the room even if I had to move my son out of his room which isn't a bad idea. :>)

I may have some. How much are you looking for? I am in Perry, GA. I have lots of 4/4.
Hi all Thanks for the info. I went up to Peachstate Lumber, picked thru a full bundle of 12/4 got some straight clear walnut,62 bd ft for 460. Dham I might be getting in touch, what widths approx x Lenghts for$ ? Thanks all Later Rickk
I have some 12/4 and a little 16/4. Lengths are approximately 8 feet. Widths from 4" to 6". I am asking $6 per bd-ft for it.
My wood is all air dried, so the color in the walnut is natural and not steamed out.

Thanks I will be in touch in a couple of weeks. Later Rickk
I have a lot of 4/4 walnut milled in 1982 on an old circle mill. Looks kind of rough with 27 years of dust and exposure, but it planes up very nice. It is air dried. $3.00 for #2, #3.50 for #1, and $4.00 for select and better.I also have some persimmon, pecan, red oak, red cedar, yellow poplar, and some green (cut yesterday) white oak.
