Andrea Cortés

After finishing Architecture School in Colombia and dreading her first office job, Andrea fled to Spain in search of new opportunities. She discovered woodworking by chance in 2014 but immediately felt that it was exactly what she was meant to do. She attributes it to a past life where she was a bourbon-loving, chair making hermit.

She teaches and makes furniture and objects from a shared workshop in Barcelona but she plans to move somewhere in the mountains of Catalonia to fulfill her dream of being a chair maker, in this life.
