This is an own-design inspired in several desks found in web pages and magazines. I hope the A&C style was suitably captured.
A detail of the hutch. The glass door was decorated with Decraled (a self-adhesive lead tape)
Fake through-tenons and breadboard top.
View from the side. Oak is not available in Uruguay, so the best substitute is Cerejeira (Amburana cearensis). Very nice wood to work with. It also takes a nice finish.
There is a hidden space for cables, chargers, transformers, et al. Inside there is a power strip to plug all these. Very convenient.

I retired as Surveying Engineer some time ago. After leaving office I wanted a desk for my home place. I settled for A&C style and started looking for inspiration. Finally, I came up with an o/d which I hope captures the spirit. This is not for me to say.

Future plans include a swivel chair, a file cabinet, a side table and a two-place sofa. I will submit these as they get completed. A period lamp is also being considered.

Design or Plan used: My own design
