Walnut, Beech & Bamboo bookcase

The shallow vessels sitting on the shelf were carved with 7 & 4 1/2 angle grinders.
Roughly 5 x 6 give or take a few inches. This one was more of a free form winging it project and didnt really even require a tape measure.
The empty shelves kind of show the simplicity of the design.

After three or more years of my wife threatening me that she was going to Ikea to buy herself a bookshelf, I finally got around to knocking this together for her birthday this year. Built entirely out of shop scraps and a leftover sheet of bamboo ply it stands just a little over 6' tall and is about 5' wide.
